TLDR: trading jellyfish for gp isn't worth it imo, instead max out tax rate and then produce whatever items you want to trade, or just max population for ez money and xp.Įdit: Currently, there is what I believe to be a bug which removes the biome production bonus from t4 buildings. If you are brand new to the skill I wrote up a beginner's guide here. The changes make the skill much more balanced, although some issues remain. I've been testing out different towns after the trader nerf and other changes. 7) No spam or self-promotion (server invites, advertisements, etc) without permission from a Moderator.6) Obvious trolling means obvious consequences. This includes text, images, or links featuring nudity, sex, hard violence, or other graphically disturbing content. 4) All discussions and posts must relate to Melvor Idle. This includes suggestions that you may not agree with. 2) Respect each other's opinions, even if you disagree with it.We don't need to be specific, you know what this means. And im training with knights now (im at 50 combat with almost full blue set (knight drops)) and i barely use a few food pieces per minute and i have 15k of each or so, im still afraid to train with the frozzen archer due to the debuff it applies, i dont know how auto eat deals with that extra 10% dmg. So far im training combat only when im not afk, idle but not afk. when you've got 10m+ cooked whales set to auto eat its another story obviously that only really matters early to mid game when food is somewhat scarce. i'd probably have atleast an extra 20% spare food for a prolonged training period. if your planning to semi-afk / afk then write down how much food you have and check it an hour later so you know how much you will "roughly" use per hour. it has the same principals as combat with the auto-eat function. thieving can and will kill you if you don't have food. especially late game with certain bosses. for a HC run i highly recommend reading everything twice, a third time if needed. to level the prayer skill it needs to be done with combat. Originally posted by DGHoloman:you can gain prayer points through fishing, sounds strange but you'l understand when your fishing skill gets higher and unlocks certain fish, so dont worry about burying bones to bank a certain amount of prayer points before using them to level prayer. Thanks a lot man, i will keep an eye on those numers then, i dont mind slow progress, and i have the chance to "play" it at work so that might speed things up, im used to hardcore games so stockpiling and overpreparing is part of my gaming nature, i will probably have at least 10 times more food than needed each time i idle something. Be careful around thieving - you can die from it, too. If you want to be safe, start with non-combat skills and expand from there. Since you mentioned training prayer, remember that the only way to do it is through combat. The damage you see is already adjusted based on your character's damage reduction, so if the text says "200 damage", you can be sure that you won't be hit for more than that. Special attacks can deal both higher and lesser damage than normal attacks - you can always see the description of exactly what an attack does, immediately below a mob's portrait. I dont think i will idle combat tho, at least not overnight, maybe when im working and have a little window on the side to check if its going smoothly or not, but not completely idle. damage is 399.Īmazing, thanks, im worried about those "special attacks" tho, since y just started playing, i didnt encounter those yet, are those easy to see/understand ? and the max hit is still the max hit or the special attack can do even more dmg ? So, if your auto-eat threshold is 400 health, you can idle any mob whose max. damage a mob can deal is lower than your auto-heal amount from eating. If you want to leave the game idling in combat, you need to make sure that the max. So far i understand that if the monster hits for 300 and i have 301 health i wont die When you make sure you can tank all the special attacks, it is safe to leave the game to idle.Īlternatively, use a combat calculator to safeguard yourself from errors: If you are not sure and want to take a few test combat runs (for example, in a new dungeon), just click and hold the food button on the combat screen - this way, you will be instantly healing all the damage as long as you have some food left. damage a mob can deal is always accurately displayed under its portrait. slayer:Regarding the damage, there are no critical hits, and the max.
